TAS Brown Bag Presentation
When
08 Jul 2009
12:00 PM - 12:59 PM
Location
BLM offices on Cruz Alta Rd
A few months ago the TAS sponsored a trip to Cuernavaca and Morelia, the latter being a State of Mexico to the West of the Valley of Mexico, inhabited by Prehispanic peoples who shared the overall Mesoamerican culture, but who were never conquered by the Aztecs. These people developed their own distinctive style of architecture and other arts, and thus are well worth experiencing in their own right. The trip included some of TAS's most notorious merrymakers, and a great party, er trip, was had by all.
We will share our archaeological and other experiences at the next Brown Bag meeting on Wednesday, July 8 at 12:00 noon at the BLM offices on Cruz Alta Rd. And don't forget to bring your brown bag lunch.
Any questions, call Steve Robertson at 751-9592 or

. Hope to see you there.
